Red Dead Online Weekly Update October 6 highlights:
- The latest Vitalism Studies is now available at Harriet’s Shop, and will let players that also gather Harrietum Officinalis transform into a wild boar
- An Offer for 50% off an Established or Higher Naturalist Item for Sampling or killing the Golden Spirit Bear, plus players that deliver its pelt to Gus’ Store will unlock a custom coat made from the bear’s fur
- 5,000 Club XP for everyone that plays between today and October 12th
- Double XP in Role Missions: All Bounties, Trader and Moonshiner Sell Missions, Moonshiner Story and Bootlegger Missions, and Naturalist Sighting and Poaching Missions
- Double XP in all Free Roam Events, Showdowns, Races, A Land of Opportunities and Free Roam Missions
- New Naturalist discounts: 5 Gold Bars off the price of the Animal Field Guide, and 40% off all Naturalist Role Items
- 30% off the cost of all Trinkets sold at Gus’ Trapper Store
- Prime Gaming Benefits: A free Katata Coat, 6,000 Naturalist XP, a free Wilderness Camp, and 5 free Legendary Animal Pheromones for players that connect their Social Club account with Prime Gaming
- Additional Prime Gaming Benefits: A free Bar Theme and Outfit, Accessory or Emote, plus 6,000 Club XP, 10X each of Gin, Brandy, Rum, Baked Beans and Jolly Jack’s
- A new Legendary Animal Sighting Mission for the debuting Golden Spirit Bear, said to have mauled poachers in Big Valley, is now available for Naturalists that visit Harriet at her shop

Players can also earn twice the usual XP from Role Missions – including all Bounties, Trader and Moonshiner Sell Missions, Moonshiner Story and Bootlegger Missions, and Naturalist Sighting and Poaching Missions.
Free Roam Events, Showdowns, Races, A Land of Opportunities and Free Roam Missions are all doling out double XP until October 12th.
NATURALIST DISCOUNTSAspiring Naturalists can take 5 Gold Bars off the price of Harriet’s Animal Field Guide and 40% off all Naturalist Role Items – that should help them get their adventures in the wilderness started in earnest. Plus, those looking to visit Gus to purchase Trinkets can take 30% off the cost of assembly.
