Over the past few days, the Call of Duty community has been talking about a large-scale, open world Zombies mode coming to Black Ops Cold War and/or Call of Duty Warzone after rumors have surfaced from reliable Call of Duty leakers.

It seems this is the real deal, as the existence of a Black Ops Cold War Outbreak mode citing a “large scale zombies experience” has surfaced on the official Call of Duty website, though it has since been pulled!

It looks like a new trailer and more info will be shared soon, though there’s nothing to pore o over for now.
According to rumors, this large scale zombies experience will be a PvE affair, and will take place on a big Fireteam map.

Treyarch has further added fuel to the fire by posting teasers of something…though it’s clear it’s connected to the studio’s Zombies mode.

Given that Black Ops Cold War and Warzone’s Season 2 is set to start next week according to the latest trailer, chances are we’ll see an official announcement for this soon, with the event itself kicking off as the big new thing for Season 2.
