Report: Lenovo Developing Handheld Console “Legion Go”; Images and Details Surface Online

According to a new report, Lenovo is making a handheld gaming PC to compete with the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally called Legion Go. Legion Go will support Windows 11 and AMD’s new Pheonix processors for maximum PC gaming capability. Continue reading for more information and images of the unannounced handheld.

Windows Cental’s sources claim that the Legion Go is ultra-thin focused on gaming, AI, and graphics for ultrabooks. The Legion Go will have an 8-inch screen, larger than the ASUS ROG Ally or the Steam Deck, which could possibly put the Legion Go at an advantage over its competitors if it’s well-priced.

According to the leaked images, here are some observations made about Lenovo’s Legion Go:

  • Similar controller setup to the Nintendo Switch, controllers can be taken off and replaced.
  • Similar kickstand to the Nintendo Switch
  • Trackpad on the right controller
  • Less bezels compared to the Steam Deck and ROG Ally
  • Very thick like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally
