Starfield Review Embargo Lifts Thursday, August 31

Starfield review embargo

One of this year’s most anticipated title and Bethesda’s first universe in over 25 years is set to release in just a couple of weeks. Of course, we are talking about Starfield! For those curious what the gaming media thinks of it, the Starfield review embargo lifts on Thursday, August 31!

To be more specific, Starfield reviews can be posted on August 31 9am PT / 12pm ET / 12 am HKT / 5 pm BST! For those curious when you can watch gameplay streams go live, the embargo for streaming lifts the day after on September 1, same day as the early access launch.

MP1st will have our Starfield review up when embargo lifts, so you can look forward to our no-holds barred impressions of Bethesda Game Studios latest and first title under the Xbox umbrella. We’ll also have guides up to make sure you do not get lost in one of the 1000 planets featured in the game.

If you’re somehow not familiar with Starfield, here’s a short description (via Steam):

In the year 2330, humanity has ventured beyond our solar system, settling new planets, and living as a spacefaring people. You will join Constellation – the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy – and navigate the vast expanse of space in Bethesda Game Studios’ biggest and most ambitious game.

Starfield releases exclusively on the Xbox Series X|S and PC this September 6. Players who pre-order the premium edition can play the game starting September 1.

TYPICAL Xbox. Business as usual for them, letting reviews go only as soon as the game is out. It screams so much confidence.
But at least they didn’t do what they did with Crackdown 3, pretend the review embargo was a week before launch and delay it last second to the moment the game goes live at 12am.
