Report: Red Dead Redemption 1 PC Version Mentioned in PSN Store Page Listing
About three months ago, the Rockstar Launcher seemingly confirmed the existence of the first Red Dead Redemption for PC. While nothing came out of it just yet, it seems another digital storefront has confirmed the game’s existence once again, and oddly enough, this time it’s the PlayStation Network Store.
The PSN Store page listing of Red Dead Redemption 1 mentions how the game is “now on PC for the first time ever.” We’ve taken a screenshot of it in case Sony changes it:
Further adding to the rumor is the Epic Games Store leak that mentions a Rockstar Games title called “Semla,” which has the same disk space size as Red Dead Redemption 1 on PS4. However, this recent PSN Store page mention is the most concrete “evidence” of RDR1 set to launch on PC just yet.
For those not familiar with the first Red Dead Redemption, it stars John Marston, with Red Dead Redemption 2 actually acting as a prequel to it. “When federal agents threaten his family, former outlaw John Marston is forced to hunt down the gang of criminals he once called friends. Experience Marston’s journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico as he fights to bury his blood-stained past in the critically acclaimed predecessor to the 2018 blockbuster, Red Dead Redemption 2.
Hopefully, an announcement is incoming soon! If it does get announced, expect the Undead Nightmare expansion to be part of the package, which turns the western world of RDR1 into a zombie apocalypse.
