Rock Band 4 Last DLC to Be Released Jan. 25, Live Services Will Continue as Normal

Rock Band 4 Last DLC

After eight years, Harmonix will be releasing the last DLC for Rock Band 4 this January 25! Thankfully, this doesn’t mean anything is happening to live play and everything else.

In a new announcement, Haromnix’s Daniel Sussman looked back at the studio’s time in supporting Rock Band 4, and mentioned how the studio is hard at work over the last two years developing Fortnite Festival. For those who don’t know. Fortnite Festival brings rhythm action gaming to the Fortnite ecosystem for free, and support for Rock Band 4 instruments are coming to it soon.

As for the last bit of DLC, Sussman hasn’t revealed the songs in it yet, but did mention that the last two weeks will feature some “tear jerkers” that will sum up the studio’s feelings about this moment.

To date, Harmonix has nearly 3,000 songs as DLC, and well over 3,000 songs (if you include the game soundtracks). Don’t forget, while we are getting the Rock Band 4 last DLC this January 25, online play, Rival seasons, and the rest are going to be playable as normal.

Will we ever see a new Rock Band? I can’t say for sure, but maybe we’ll get another DLC pack some day.
