Rocket League Down december 24

Those looking to get some vehicular soccer matches in Rocket League this Christmas Eve, you might be having issues logging in, and if so, it’s not just you, as players from around the world are reporting that the servers are down and having server issues.

Read on for what Psyonix has to say about today’s Rocket League downtime.

Rocket League Servers Experiencing Issues and Down on December 24

Not only has Rocket League exploded on downdetector when it comes to reports flagged, but Psyonix has acknowledged the outage and has given multiple status updates since the servers went down.

About an hour ago, the studio commented, We are investigating an issue preventing players from logging into Rocket League. We are working on a fix ASAP and will share an update once this has been resolved.”

Just a few minutes ago, the dev team also shared, “We’re still working on bringing Rocket League back online and restoring matchmaking to normal. Players currently logged in may see themselves kicked from the game while work to bring services back online.” So don’t be surprised to see yourself connect to the game, but get kicked out.

When it comes to the latest content delivered to the game, Psyonix released the DeLorean time machine vehicle from Back to the Future in the game, and yes, it looks snazzy.

For the holidays, there is the Frosty Fiest challenge rewards. Completing said challenges will grant festive rewards like the Hot Cocoa Antenna and magical rewards including the Sorting Hat Topper and Boosts repping each Hogwarts house!

Another game experiencing outages is ARC Raiders, the hit extraction game of 2025. You can monitor the server situation of that game in our status article.
