Second Extinction Release Date Xbox

After months of the game being in early access on Steam, Systemic Reaction announced today the Second Extinction release date for Xbox players as with the confirmation of it coming to Xbox Game Pass the very same day!

Starting April 28, Xbox and PC gamers will be able to enjoy this dino-hunting co-operative multiplayer!  It’ll be available through the Xbox Game Preview program and feature all the content released thus far from the early access. While technically Second Extinction is already available on PC (Steam Early Access), this new release will be for the Windows Store for those who prefer that storefront. If you aren’t familiar with the title, down below is a short trailer that should hopefully give you an idea.

About Second Extinction:

Second Extinction pits teams of up to three players against swarms of bloodthirsty dinos in fast-paced battles across Earth’s post-apocalyptic wastelands. Squad up with a range of powerful weapons and fight on your own or with friends against monstrous dinosaurs long thought extinct — now mutated and deadlier than ever! The War Effort is Second Extinction’s community-driven global metagame: by completing missions and activities around the world, you’ll directly impact the threat level and challenges players face.

We’ve played some of it ourselves on PC, and lets just say that Xbox players are in for a good treat! Definitely a title well worth checking out, and if your subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, then there really shouldn’t have a reason not to play. Hopefully we see you all on the hunting field at launch!
