Frogwares has finally revealed the Sherlock Holmes The Awakened announcement trailer. The remake was originally announced last week by the developers and was accompanied by some concept art. 

The game will be a full remake of the 15-year-old Sherlock Holmes The Awakened game. It will be partially rewritten and entirely rebuilt using Unreal Engine 4. The developers promise a complete overhaul including new visuals, stories, quests, and mechanics.

A continuation of the young Sherlock’s story, this is the first case Holmes and Watson undertake as a duo. Together they will investigate and try to thwart a nefarious cult that worships the ancient Eldritch God Cthulhu. The horrific events that Holmes and Watson encounter here lay the foundation for the iconic pair’s unbreakable bond, but also explain how Sherlock became such a damaged and flawed genius.

Frogwares is also still asking fans to help fund this game’s remake. They have started a Kickstarter campaign for all fans who are able and willing to donate in order to help secure the final parts of production.
