Those who want to snipe heads off in a higher resolution and frame-rate, you’ll be getting that soon, as CI Games has announced the Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 PS5 release date is locked for August 24!

There’s a trailer out now featuring the accolades the game has gotten since it’s release earlier this month, mixed with the PS5 release date trailer!

The PS5 version of the shooter will feature improved loading times via the PS5’s SSD, upgraded textures and visuals, the ability to play in either performance mode (60fps, 2K resolution), or in visual mode (30fps, 4K resolution). In addition to the, in the same press release, CI Games announced that the game’s digital sales have exeeded the series’ previous iteration by a whopping 170% during its first ten days of availability!

Those who own the game, CI Games will be rolling out the SGW Contract 2’s first major DLC free for everyone! This will feature a brand new region with additional contracts and objectives. For those who own the game on PS4, the upgrade to the PS5 version will be free.
