Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Open Network Test Download, Schedule and Rewards Info
Sonic and arcade racing fans have something to look forward to starting tomorrow, as the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Open Network Test kicks off! This is open to everyone with a PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, or a capable PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
The preload is now live, and if you need assistance with downloading it, we’re here to help! Not only that, but we also have the complete schedule, Open Network Test content info and even rewards!
Yes, you read that right! Participants will receive rewards that they can use in the final version of the game when it releases next month.

Rewards Key Info:
- The method for claiming the participation bonus may change at a later date.
- Once Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds officially launches, you can claim the bonus by booting up the full version of the game using the account and platform you used for the Open Network Test.
- An Internet connection is required to claim the bonus.
- You will not be able to claim the bonus if you play the full version of the game on a different account or platform than the one you used for the Open Network Test.

Online Mode Info
- After completing your first Grand Prix, which consists of 4 races, you’ll unlock World Match and a host of other modes.
- World Match will only be available from 12:00 PM on August 29, 2025 to 12:00 PM on August 31, 2025, and from 12:00 PM on September 1, 2025 to 12:00 PM on September 2, 2025 (UTC+8).
- Joker Festival will be held from 12:00 PM on August 31, 2025 to 12:00 PM on September 1, 2025 (UTC+8)
Joker Festival
Join one of three teams and help your team achieve more points than your competition! In this online mode, you’ll be given a set of unique challenges while you race, including one where the team with the most Rings earns bonus points.
As you rack up Festival Points, you’ll unlock more decals and horns to use during the ONT!
Note: Item and Festival Points earned during the Open Network Test will not carry over to the retail version.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set for release on Sept. 25 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, and will feature one of the largest rosters in the Sonic Racing series.
