Some new Starfield AMD PC requirements have been released. PC hardware manufacturer AMD released the specs on its official website, but the specs only feature AMD systems. This means no Intel CPUs, no Nvidia GPUs, and no motherboards from other brands or manufacturers.

That’s a substantial jump from other PC titles I’ve experienced recently… But honestly it is a welcome jump. Finally a game that requires an SSD. Not to mention more modern 6-core processors at the minimum for a good experience. 16GB of RAM as well! This is the first time since Crysis back in the day where I could see a single game making PC players want an upgrade. Admittedly I’ll be playing it first on my Series X, but down the road when I have the cash to upgrade my PC to some more modern hardware I’ll probably be buying it again just like with Skyrim. Super stoked for this!
