A new trailer for Street Fighter 6 was unveiled at Capcom’s Tokyo Game Show 2022 presentation, revealing the Street Fighter 6 returning fighters including Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda, and Ken, and also giving us a look at the World Tour Mode, Fighting Ground, and the Battle Hub. Watch the new Street Fighter 6 trailer here:
Here’s a rundown of everything that was revealed in the trailer with a brief description:
- World Tour:
Single-player immersive story mode. The story begins with freely customizing the player’s avatar and participating in the “basic training course” where Luke is the instructor. During his travels, he interacts with residents of the world through street fights, meets masters, deepens bonds, and learns techniques to become stronger.
- Fighting Ground:
The highest mode of fighting games that inherits Street Fighter 6 using fighters “Ken”, “Blanca”, “Dhalsim”, and “Edmond Honda” will join the battle! In the new mode, “Extreme Battle” where you fight by choosing special rules and gimmicks, and party battles that anyone can enjoy!
- Battle Hub:
Players can also interact with other players from all over the world using the avatars they have trained during their World Tour journeys while playing Fighting Ground’s online content. Let’s enjoy “Battle Hub Match” and “Extreme Battle” where you fight face-to-face on the battle table like an arcade, and “Game Arcade” where Capcom’s masterpiece games gather in this special space.
Moreover, the developers announced a closed beta test for Street Fighter 6 will be taking place from October 7 to October 10. The Street Fighter 6 closed beta will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC, featuring full crossplay. It will include eight characters, online matches and tournaments, Training Mode, Extreme Battle, and more.
