Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Delay Announced, Pushed to Spring 2023

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Delay

Following an unconfirmed report from Bloomberg months ago, Rocksteady Creative Director Sefton Hill confirmed on Twitter today the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League delay, with the action title pushed back to sometime in 2023. Here’s the official announcement made over on Twitter:

We’ve made the difficult decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to Spring 2023. I know a delay is frustrating but that time is going into making the best game we can. I look forward to bringing the chaos to Metropolis together. Thanks for your patience.

The announcement comes with a short teaser replacing the year 2022 to 2023, which could be proof that this delay has been cooking for quite some time.

With the delay of this title, Rocksteady will have surpassed eight years since their last major release. Batman Arkham Knight was launched back in 2015, and it’s interesting to note that the studio has been taking quite some time with this newest title.

Hopefully, it will all be worth the wait, so stay tuned here at MP1st for the new release date for Suicide Squad once it’s been announced.
