Announced back in June of this year, Super Mario RPG Remake has received a new trailer, highlighting the gameplay mechanics.

The combat has been updated, allowing you to time your button presses just right for increased damage on opponents. If timed to perfection, you will also damage all enemies simultaneously, giving you a significant edge in the battle.

Similarly, you can time your button presses while defending as well. If timed right, you will take no damage. That’s not all though, as the perfectly timed button presses will also fill a gauge, and when it reaches 100%, you can unleash a high-impact ‘Triple Move’ that deals massive damage.

In addition, the developers have added the ability to fight some of the main story bosses post-game. Be prepared, though – these battles won’t be a walk in the park as their moves, health, and attacks will be significantly powered up.

Super Mario RPG Remake visuals have also received a major overhaul. The game looks fantastic, and from what we have seen so far, it seems amazing to play as well.

We eagerly await its arrival on November 17, 2023, when it launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
