Prepare to smash up the competition again and be excited for the next fighter coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as Nintendo has released a teaser announcement that the next DLC fighter for their Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will be revealed during The Game Awards.

Here’s the tweet from Nintendo of America teasing the arrival with an invitation.

A new Super #SmashBrosUltimate fighter will be revealed tonight at #TheGameAwards! Tune in to the show, beginning at 4pm PT, to be ready for the reveal! pic.twitter.com/Lkw9fRrizl

Who exactly the new fighter will be is left open to anybody’s interpretation, but several fan favorite characters such as Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters series, Joker from Persona 5, Steve from Minecraft, and Banjo and Kazooie from the Banjo-Kazooie series have already made it to the growing roster of Smash Bros. fighters. We’ll find out soon enough who the next entrant will be as The Game Awards will start airing December 10 at 4:00 PM PT and 7:00 PM ET, and will be streamed through various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
