It seems that Superrmassive may be gearing up the announce the fourth title in The Dark Pictures anthology as they have recently filed for a new trademark for a new game, The Dark Pictures The Devil In Me.
The trademark (as spotted on Twitter,) bears the very same skull (though altered) as previous Dark Pictures titles, with the title being “Devil In Me”. The ”
V” is styled different as explained by the trademark description.
The mark consists of the word THE on top of the words DARK PICTURES, stacked on top of the words THE DEVIL IN ME. The letter V in the word DEVIL is stylized, with a magnifying glass attached to the bottom of the letter V. On the left of the mark, there is a left-facing skull with a compass inside the skull.
A logo is accompanied with the trademark filing.
There are no further details, though that isn’t surprising all considering that the third game in the anthology, House of Ashes, will be releasing in October this year. We likely won’t see anything about The Devil In Me until then.
If this is legit, and we believe it is, this is the fourth game of the anthology all published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The first game in the series started with Man of Medan released in 2019, and Little Hope which was released last year.
