Developer Awaceb has rolled out Tchia update 1.06 (PS5 version 1.006), which is the game’s day one patch! This brings in a host of improvements that players will be able to experience in their game the first time they boot it (provided they are connected to the internet and whatnot).

Tchia Patch 2

  • – Performance optimization
  • – UI/UX improvements on totem sculpting stand
  • – Anti-aliasing improvements on PS5
  • – Deer model quality/deformations improvements
  • – Fixed a problem where Stamina fruits would trigger notifications and appear on the map even if already consumed
  • – Fixed some levels not properly loading at the start of some cutscenes
    for that patch that just dropped

Tchia Patch 1

  • – Crash fixes and stability improvements
  • – Levels loading issues during cutscenes fix (floating characters, environment appearing late)
  • – Fixed issue where Tchia would sometimes fall through the floor after going back to gameplay
  • – Infinite loadings / Stuck on black screen fix
  • – Fixed an issue where Tchia would become unable to fire her slingshot or use Soul-Jumping
  • – Fixed missing lighting in some cutscenes
  • – Fixed achievements unlocking issue
  • – Fixed side-map/compass behaviour being unreliable sometimes
  • – Fixed an issue where Tchia could get stuck at the start of a Race challenge
  • – Added functioning conveyor belts in all 4 factories
  • – Performance improvements
    – Animation issues fixes (characters T-posing)
  • – Fauna animations various polish
  • – UI: Map & icons update issues fixes & polish

  • – Physics issues associated with sliding down slopes fixed
  • – Enemies AI, navigation & pathfinding adjustments and fixes

  • – Fixed an issue where post-process effects would stay on screen during cutscenes
  • – Fixed visual issue where grass could appear flat on the ground
