To celebrate the milestone, Bandai Namco released a few wallpapers for Tekken 7 in 4K resolution, with one for mobile phones, too.
While 54 million sales alone is a huge achievement, Tekken 7 taking up a good chunk of total sales goes to show how popular the franchise is to this day. And the series is far from over, too, with Tekken 8 already in the works. There’s even a trailer for those interested in the new entry’s gameplay that was featured in The Game Awards.
Fighting game fans have a lot to look forward to in 2023 as the current year closes. Aside from Tekken 8, there’s Street Fighter 6 which is slated for a June 2 release, and while it’s still in development, Riot’s Project L is also in the works.
