Hot on the heels of the Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law gameplay trailers, Bandai Namco Entertainment has now released the Tekken 8 King gameplay trailer featuring the mighty luchadore taking on both Paul and Marshall inside the wrestling ring. King has more suplexes, throws, and other wrestling moves available to him than ever before, and his new Rage Art has him lifting his opponent high into the air before performing a devastating backbreaker.

King returns in Tekken 8 leaning heavily into his luchadore aesthetic, with a new cape and pants that both read “King” and some fancy jewelery and headgear to match. Inside the ring, the wrestler deals punishment with an array of slams, throws, suplexes, corner combos, and some of his old Rage Drive attacks worked into his Heat abilities. For his new Rage Art, King switches out the telegraphed punch engager for a straight overhead hook, and then lifting his opponent on his shoulders behind his neck before throwing them into the air and bringing them down into a backbreaker smash on his knee.
More Tekken 8 gameplay is expected to be released in the coming weeks, but for now, eager fans can obsess over the previous gameplay trailers of Jin, Kazuya, Paul, and Marshall Law. Tekken 8 will release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at an unspecified time.
