Chinese compang Tencent has added yet another video game company to its list fold though only in a minor capacity. In a press release, Bohemia Interactive has announced that Tencent has acquired a minority stake in Bohemia Interactive!

Based in Czechia, Bohemia Interactive is popularly known as the studio behind the Arma franchise. According to the press release, Bohemia ” will continue to operate independently and be led by the existing management team,” which should be good news for fans, as it doesn’t seem anything major will happen with the studio. Additionally. Bohemia is working with Tencent to bring PC/mobile sandbox game creation platform Ylands to Chinese players and game makers as well.

Tencent which is a multi-billion company is no stranger to films, technology and games, as it also fully owns League of Legends developer Riot Games.
