There’s a new The Last of Us PC update this March 29 rolled out by Iron Galaxy — the studio behind the PC port of Naughty Dog’s hit game. Hopefully, this fixes some of the things plaguing the game, with the main one being the shader issue.

Update: The official patch notes are now available!

• Fixed several performance & hitch related issues impacting some users.
• Note:

   Additional improvements and investigations based on user feedback are underway.

• Added extra crash diagnostic information to assist in investigating shader building related crashes and other common reported stability issues

Iron Galaxy nor Naughty Dog has issued any official patch notes just yet, but we’re hoping that changes soon.

In the meantime, here’s the acknowledgement of the game’s tech issues from Naughty Dog, as well as the list of confirmed known issues.

The Last of Us PC Known Issues:

• Loading shaders takes longer than expected
• Performance and stability is degraded while shaders are loading in the background
• Older graphics drivers leads to instability and/or graphical problems
• Game may be unable to boot despite meeting the minimum system requirements
• A potential memory leak

Oddly enough, some people have reported on more tech issues after the patch.
