Months after a sequel for the 2014 souls-like Lords of the Fallen was announced at gamescom, a new trailer was unveiled at The Game Awards. Titled “The Lords of the Fallen,” the new teaser shows off the game’s stunning graphics and soundtrack.

A vast world awaits in all-new, dark fantasy action-RPG, The Lords of the Fallen. As one of the fabled Dark Crusaders, embark on an epic quest to overthrow Adyr, the demon God.

The Lords of the Fallen aims to be much more ambitious than the previous title, with the upcoming RPG being “five times larger” than the original game. With two parallel worlds for you to explore, there are a lot of things to discover along the way.

As a souls-like, The Lord of the Fallen also puts heavy emphasis on combat. You can build your character using a variety of weapons and stats, allowing you to carve your own identity and unique playstyle in the game.

The Lords of the Fallen is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2023.
