Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered Announced With a February 2025 Release

After remastering the first three Tomb Raider games, Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics are back and remastering three more games! That’s right—the Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered collection has been announced, and it’ll be arriving early next year!

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered Collection Brings Back the Classics With Updated Features

Though they were never officially referred to as numbered entries like the first three Tomb Raider games, the Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered Collection will consist of the three following mainline Tomb Raider games that were published under Eidos Interactive. They are:

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (1999)

Lara Croft uncovers the lost tomb of the Egyptian God Set, unwittingly unleashing him and fulfilling an ancient prophecy—one that plunges mankind into darkness. Pursued at every turn by her arch-rival, the unscrupulous archaeologist Werner Von Croy, Lara embarks on a journey of discovery across Egypt, where she must overcome the most ingenious puzzles and infernal traps ever devised while facing terrifying evil from beyond the grave.

Tomb Raider: Chronicles (2000)

Following the events of The Last Revelation, Lara Croft is buried in an Egyptian tomb and presumed dead. At her memorial, those closest to her reminisce about secrets from her past. Travel back and experience Lara’s untold adventures, introducing new gameplay mechanics like stealth and tightrope balancing!

Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness (2003)

Accused of murder, Lara becomes a fugitive on the run, uncovering a sinister conspiracy involving alchemical experiments and the search for ancient artifacts. It’s up to Lara to stop this unholy alliance from unleashing its incredible powers on the world.

Much like the first remastered collection, Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered will feature several improvements over the original releases, the most obvious being the visual upgrade and modern controls. Photomode is also coming back, along with some quality-of-life improvements and support for trophies and achievements.

A fantastic announcement, and personally, I cannot wait to revisit The Angle of Darkness and the other two Tomb Raiders. Speaking of wait, it won’t be long as Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered will officially be released on February 14, 2025, on the  Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
