In case you didn’t hear, pre-orders for Turtle Beach’s VelocityOne Flight Simulation control system went live early today. And while it does cost a pretty penny, it took almost no time for the new gaming peripheral to sell out, becoming one of Turtles Beach’s most pre-ordered products.

According to Turtle Beach, pre-orders for the new flight system sold out in less than 15 minutes, with 21,000 fans signing up before hand for alerts when the controller would be available for reservations.

They note that the VelocityOne has become one of the brand’s most pre-ordered products

“VelocityOne Flight pre-orders from our site selling out globally is a wonderful start to our entry into the rapidly growing flight simulation hardware market,” said Juergen Stark, Chairman and CEO, Turtle Beach Corporation.

For those that missed out on the initial pre-orders, Turtle Beach has confirmed that there will be more opportunities leading to launch with additional waves of orders being available.

Announced during E3 this year, the VelocityOne Flight Simulator Control System is a product born of a partnership between Turtle Beach and Microsoft in order to give Xbox and PC gamers the ultimate flight simulator experience. A full breakdown of its features can be found below.
