Two AAA FPS Titles Go Digital, Modern Warfare 3 Hits XBL While Battlefield 3 Hits PSN

Both Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and DICE’s Battlefield 3 hit the digital marketplace yesterday – the former on Xbox Live and the latter on the PlayStation Network.

Xbox Live users can now purchase and download the digital version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for $39.99 (Size: 7.49 GB) by either finding it in the Marketplace on the Xbox 360 dashboard or by visiting marketplace.xbox.com. Meanwhile, North American PlayStation 3 users now have the chance to purchase and download Battlefield 3 for $59.99 (Size: 12.3 GB). It can be found by visiting the PlayStation Network on your console. Remember, PlayStation Plus members also have access to a Battlefield 3 full game trial for free if you’d like to demo it before-hand.
