Ubisoft Takes Down XDefiant Servers for Maintenance and Patch Release This June 4
For those trying to connect to XDefiant, you won’t be able to, as Ubisoft has taken the game’s servers down for maintenance where a patch is also expected to be released today.
XDefiant Server Status for June 4:
Update: Patch notes for today’s title update is here and they are underwhelming to say the least.
Per Ubisoft, the patch and server downtime is expect to start at 6 am PT/9 am ET/9 pm HKT. The outage will last one hour and will affect all platforms.
No word yet on what will get fixed, but we’re hoping this adds more netcode refinements, which was promised along with added sniper flinch. Once the patch is out, we’ll be sure to update the article with the proper link to the complete changelog.
If there are any changes to the server outage, we’ll update the article accordingly.
Hopefully, this maintenance and patch release will be a good turning point for the game, and we’ll see cheaters get banned as they deserve. Not only that but hopefully this patch also brings in console-only crossplay bug fixes so it’ll work as intended.
