Ubisoft Takes The Division 2 Servers Down for Maintenance, Adjusts Server Locations
This September 10, agents of The Division 2 will have to contend for the game being out for a few hours, as Ubisoft has taken the game’s servers down, and this is to apply stability fixes and even adjust server locations.
According to Ubisoft, the The Division 2 servers will be down this September 10 starting at 9:30 am CEST/3:30 am ET/12:30 am PT/3:30 pm HKT.
Expect it to last for three hours, though there have been instances that this lasted longer than the planned outage. While there is no mention on whether a new patch is being released, the studio states that this maintenance period is to “adjust server locations, improving game performance and stability.”
Speaking of patches, Title Update 21.4 was released last week that introduced a bunch of fixes. As for what’s next, there is the Guardians Global Event starting today, which will be followed by the Golden Bullet Global Event kicking off on September 24.
There is the story DLC planned for next year, though details about that have not been shared by Ubisoft just yet. If the server outage takes longer than the planned scheduled, we’ll update the article to reflect this.
