With Japanese arcade cabinets receiving the latest Ultra edition of the Street Fighter IV series last April, it was only a matter of time before Capcom announced exactly when the rest of the world might get their hands on the newest iteration of the popular fighter.
Today, we learn that Ultra Street Fighter IV will be hitting PlayStation 3 on June 3 and Xbox 360 on June 4. However, those dates only apply to those planning on digitally upgrading current copies of either Super Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition through your platform’s marketplace for $14.99 USD. Those who prefer the physical disc version of the game will have to wait until August 5 for it to launch on both platforms for $39.99 USD.
Meanwhile, PC players will have to wait a bit longer, as USF IV will hit Steam on August 8 for $29.99 USD.
In addition to the recently announced dates, you can check out some of the USF IV pre-order bonuses in the video above, which features exclusive costumes for the five new characters; Elena, Hugo, Poison, Rolento and Decapre.
Ultra Street Fighter IV is the fourth installment of the Street Fighter IV series, adding new mechanics to the game like online training with a friend, direct YouTube uploads of previous fights, using both Ultras in a game, and an increased character roster of 44 playable characters in total.
