Warframe August Update Brings New Quest, Quality of Life Update Coming Later This Year
At TennoCon 2024 today, Digital Extremes announced the next major Warframe update, and it’s due out next month! The Warframe August update will bring The Locust Eaters content which is a new quest that acts as a prologue tot he events of Warframe: 1999.
Aside from the Warframe August update, Digital Extremes also announced another major update arriving soonish, which will debut at Tokyo Game Show (TGS). which takes place from Sept. 26 to Sept. 29. So expect the title update possibly in October at the earliert.
What’s coming with that patch, you might ask? Based on what was revealed at TennoCon, it’ll bring a rework of Caliban, alongside quality of life improvements as well.
- Caliban Rework -The original Sentient-Warframe hybrid will soon whirl back into the spotlight for his first major rework since he emerged during The New War. And you’ll be able to experience his overhauled Abilities for yourself later this year — along with his new Orfeo Skin — thanks to an upcoming free Caliban Warframe giveaway!
- Item Favorites – You can now favorite items in the UI
- New Incarnons – More details to be revealed
- Companions 2.0 Part 2 – Continued QoL changes for your Companions
- Entirely new Warframe
It seems tennos have a lot to look forward to this year! Moving ahead of that, there’s Warframe: 1999 and even Soulframe to look forward to as well.
