During today’s 3D Realms  “Realms Deep 2022” show, 3D Realms and Fulqrum Publishing has debuted a brand new trailer for Wrath: Aeon of Ruin, and this showcases a never-bef0re-seen boss, enemy, weapons and more.

Today’s trailer introduces the first boss, the Lady of Ascension, Guardian of Mourningvale. After collecting the five relics in the first hub, defeat the Guardian to reach Episode 2.

While the Outlanders’ used to be the hunter, something new hunts him: Prowlers, abominations prone to turning invisible for sneak attacks.

Combat this new foe with three new weapons:

Crystallizer: a chain weapon capable of targeting multiple enemies. The alternate firing mode turns enemies into frozen crystals that amplify the chain ability as a conductor

Lance: a long-ranged sniper that can create a forcefield

Mace of devastation: A crushing melee weapon that collects souls. The secondary fire unleashes souls in a ranged barrage

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin is available for PC via Steam Early Access for $24.99 / €20,99 / £19,99. The full game launches on PC, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in Spring 2023.
