WWE 2K23 Update 1.014

WWE 2K22 update 1.18 (PS5 version 1.018) has just been released by Visual Concepts on all platforms. This is a sizable download, but is an unannounced title update, so don’t expect much from it. Read on for what’s new in the WWE 2K22 October 6 patch notes.

Size: 1.7GB (PlayStation)

Unfortunately, Visual Concepts has not released the official patch notes just yet, which isn’t that surprising, given the devs were also silent regarding the last patch released. Chances are, these are fixes related to

Update: More info from the community added!

  • Reverse turnbuckle climb (To Moonsault Position) is fixed. Not moonsaulting outside the ring to nothing. (via JimiHendricks)

Checking in with the community here’s some of the bugs that are still in the game:

  • Skull mask for male superstars bug (via theTRUEchamp)
  • Tag team finishers not saving (via slendermon13)
  • Universe crashing bug if you are in a tag team creation or superstars section (via slendermon13)
  • Create-A-Wrestler (CAW) infinite loading glitch still not fixed, but workaround provied by ChrisP1223!

You have to delete the install but not the save game. Once it’s deleted reinstall and that will take care of that issue. I had it as well and it works. The install will take awhile though but just make sure you don’t delete the save data and it picks up where you left off without the infinity circle save.

We’re on the lookout if Visual Concepts releases anything, and will update the post if we see any tangible changes.

Given we seem to be at the tail end of the game’s support, go read our review right here to see if it’s worth a purchase for wrestling fans.
