2K just announced WWE 2K23 release date, and the latest entry in the WWE 2K wrestling game series is set to launch on March 17 this year, with early access on March 14 for those who purchase the Deluxe and Icon editions of the game. All editions of WWE 2K23 will feature iconic wrestler and actor John Cena on the cover.

A live-action trailer was released alongside the announcement of WWE 2K23. 

2K23 introduces quite a few new additions to the franchise. WarGames, a popular WWE event involving wrestlers duking it out in a steel cage, will be added to the game. It’ll also feature a “unique new take on the 2K Showcase,” which involves players taking on John Cena as his various competitors, with Cena himself narrating throughout. The Showcase will use what 2K calls “Slingshot Tech” to seamlessly transition between gameplay and live-action footage.

There are also various other new features to the game, such as additional GMs in MyGM, online multiplayer in MyFACTION, and further support for its Creation Suite. With the game only a couple of months away before its release, fans of the franchise won’t have to wait long before they get to see The Champ.

In development at 2K studio Visual Concepts, WWE 2K23 is set to launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned for more WWE2 2K23 coverage here on MP1st in the coming days.
