In a recent announcement, Xbox and its subsidiary publisher Bethesda will be present at video game conference gamescom 2023. Both companies will apparently have showfloor presence at the event, with more details to come in the future.

The announcement was made by the official gamescom Twitter account:

Interestingly, this comes after Xbox not showing up at the E3 convention showfloor last June. The Microsoft-owned company was one of many gaming giants that had been absent from the event, joining other big names such as Nintendo, Sony, Ubisoft, SEGA, and Level Infinite. Instead of making its major announcements at E3, Xbox presented its upcoming titles via the Xbox Games Showcase, where we got the Fable and Star Wars Outlaws announcements, a Starfield gameplay deep dive, and much more.

Given that Starfield releases only a couple of weeks after gamescom 2023, it’s likely we’ll be getting more information on the sci-fi RPG, especially considering the presence of Bethesda alongside Xbox. We may also get more information on other titles that Xbox is cooking up, so you’ll definitely want to keep your eyes peeled throughout the event.

gamescom 2023 runs from August 23 to 27, 2023.
