Xbox Store Appears to Be Adding Lowest Price History and Exclusive Labels
Despite the controversies currently surrounding the company, Xbox still has several major upcoming releases that remain a key attraction for many players. Games such as Gears of War: E-Day, Clockwork Revolution, Fable, and other upcoming titles are already available for pre-order.
As players browse these releases and other titles on the platform, Microsoft is also rolling out a number of useful improvements to the Xbox Store.
Among the latest changes, the store will now display a game’s lowest recorded price and indicate whether a title is exclusive to the Xbox platform.
Xbox Updates Store Listings With Price History and Exclusive Tags

According to X user @redphx, the latest Xbox Store update adds new price information. The change follows a European Union rule that requires stores to show the lowest price a game has had in the past. This helps stop companies from increasing prices before offering discounts.
Many stores already do this because it lets customers compare the current discount with previous prices and see if the deal is actually worth it.
Along with this update, Xbox has changed how games are shown on Xbox Series X|S. If a game is available only on Xbox and PC, it will now carry an “Exclusive” label. The change also suggests that Xbox is still committing to its recent exclusive strategy.
At the time of writing, the “Exclusive” tag appears on only a small number of games, with Clockwork Revolution and the new Gears of War being among the most notable examples.
