Apex Legends Update 2.72 Rolled Out for Fixes on All Platforms
Respawn Entertainment has issued Apex Legends update 2,72 (PS5/XSX version 1.000.086), and this is a minor patch that addresses various issues. Note that this does not fix the shield damage visual clutter, though it should be fixed for PC soon, with consoles to follow soon after.
Apex Legends Update 2.72 Is Now Live on Consoles and PC for Various Fixes
Here’s what got fixed per Respawn:
- The Havoc and Devotion Weapon Mastery Challenges no longer require the Turbocharger to complete
- Loot Bin Resets now correctly eject unused loot
- Fixing some issues with Lifeline’s new tactical, including it not being correctly assigned to teammates
- Hard Combat Dummies have been reenabled in the Firing Range after resolving a related crash
- Players will now hear the correct wind rushing noises when dropping in as Lifeline or Valkyrie
- The title screen now scales correctly on ultrawide monitors
- Various fixes for Rift Releics, including the Void Reflex Boost Kit and some related crashes
The studio states they are still working on a fix for the shield damage visual clutter, and a fix is scheduled to be released tomorrow on PC, with consoles getting it at a later date. Once that’s live, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
