ARC Raiders New Update on December 11 Applies Patch 1.000.013 Fixes; Weekly Patches Taking a Break for Holidays
While Embak Studios has yet to release the Cold Snap content drop for ARC Raiders, the studio has released a new patch this December 11, which applies various fixes to the extraction game.
Console gamers will see this download appear as ARC Raiders update 1.000.013, and this is a minor patch aimed at fixing issues.
Additionally, the studio confirmed that weekly patches will stop later this month to allow the developers to go on holiday.
ARC Raiders Update 1.000.013 Stops Out of Bounds Exploits
Here’s what got fixed today per Embark:
- Removed a zipline that allowed players to get out of bounds on Stella Montis.
- Fixed collision that allowed players to vault and fall through a wall in Blue Gate.
- Fixed material issues that caused multiple objects to not block bullet fire or ARC vision.
- Fixed a gap in the collision on Spaceport Launch Tower that allowed players to be shot through the wall.
The studuio also explained how they’ve been releasing a patch every Thursday, and that will change to Tuesdays. However, after the Cold Snap update, the dev team will be taking some much-needed break time.
“Since the release, we have been patching every Thursday to catch the most critical issues while the team was in full swing. Our goal is to continue to investigate and fix critical issues as soon as we can, but it will not be on a weekly cadence. From now on, our release window and store rotation will shift to Tuesdays, however, as the winter holiday period approaches, the team will be taking a much needed break so that we can come back in January ready to bring more updates. During this time we will continue to monitor and work on critical issues,” the studio announced.
Players can expect the Cold Snap content drop to take place on Tuesday, December 17, which will also offer players a chance to wipe their character for some extra benefits.
