ARC Raiders Rolls Out Second Update of the Day as Version 1.000.006
Mere hours after releasing the first client-side patch for ARC Raiders, Embark Studios has released another one today, which players will see as version 1.000.006.
Given the sudden rollout, don’t expect anything major from this outside of emergency fixes.
Embark has seemingly encountered issues with the previous client update, necessitating this second rollout, with the PS5 version being flagged for animation issues.
ARC Raiders Receives Second Update of the Day as Version 1.000.006
Embark has issued a statement regarding today’s patch and this follow-up update as well.
According to the studio, “In order to address the animation issues that some of you were experiencing, we have to roll back a few of the changes that we introduced in the Hotfix earlier. We will include the fixes again in a future update!”
Here are the four features that need to be rolled back:
- Fixed an issue where the Augment Effects didn’t work.
- Fixed a bug where the Augment Effect wouldn’t work when equipping another quick use item.
- Added charge progress hint for integrated shield repair.
- Fixed a bug where the health regen augment skills wouldn’t work if triggered while DBNO.
Not only that, but if you’ve experienced animation issues on the PS5 version after installing today’s patch, this is something Embark is aware of as well, with the devs stating, “We are aware that some of you on PlayStation 5 are experiencing issues with animations. The team is looking into it.”
On the official ARC Raiders X (formerly Twitter) account, the studio mentioned, “Thank you all for flagging the animation issues that were introduced in the Hotfix, we’ve rolled back a few of the changes, please keep an eye out for another quick patch!”
Hopefully, this patch resolves the animation issue, Don’t be surprised to see another ARC Raiders patch be released in the comint days, given the devs did need to dial back some of the fixes due to errors.
When it comes to content updates, Embark said what they have planned is very “ambitious” and that they have big updates planned before the year is over.
