ARC Raiders Post-Launch Content Plans Are Very “Ambitious” With Big Updates Planned Before the New Year; Roadmap Incoming
ARC Raiders launches in just a few days, and although Embark Studios is still working on some final launch preparations, it seems that they have even more content in store for us in the coming months. This was revealed in a recent interview, where the studio outlined a few things players can expect, and even teased some content dropping in the next few months.
But that’s not the only thing raiders will need to watch out for, as it looks like we’ll also be getting a roadmap very soon.
ARC Raiders Getting Big Updates Before the End of 2025
Speaking in a recent interview with SkillUp, ARC Raiders’ Executive Producer, Aleksander Grondal, discussed some of their post-launch plans. He confirms that there are a couple of “bigger” updates that are planned before the new year starts, though he was careful with detailing exactly what those updates would entail. Instead, he teased the possibility of new ARCs (enemies) being added to the game, with something potentially dropping around Christmas, released to Stella Montis, the game’s fifth map, which is being kept under wraps.
“Yeah. So our ambition is to keep these updated on a consistent basis with new content, maps and arcs and quests and and all things new systems and things. We have a pretty ambitious post-launch plan for the game, and we’ll see. Maybe we’ll see something before Christmas that mentions Stella Montis. Maybe there might be more arcs about shortly, but definitely will be a couple of bigger updates before the New Year.”
On the subject of a roadmap, Grondal confirmed that one would be coming, but, as they alluded to a week back, they aren’t quite ready to flesh out the details. It’ll also be for content coming out next year, with the hopes that they’ll have something at least in the next couple of days.
“The next year is kind of being planned out right now. So we’ll have a roadmap that we can hopefully go live with in a couple of days. I can explain this a bit more in detail, but things are still a bit in flight as it should be.”
Even if said roadmap turns out to be more of an outline, this is good news for the playerbase nonetheless. But what’s interesting here is that we can expect some big drops in the next month or two, possibly related to Stella Montis. The recently announced map has remained a secret to players, and based on the mention here, it sounds like it will be updated periodically. Whether that’s with new events or something, it’s anyone’s guess.
I guess we won’t have long to find out for ourselves, as ARC Raiders will be released on Oct. 31 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
