Earlier today, Studio Wildcard released a major Ark Survival Ascended patch that was meant to be the final content update before the year ended. Well, the patch may have inadvertently introduced a couple of issues, which the studio has now addressed with Ark Survival Ascended patch 1.058.011.

Ark Survival Ascended Patch 1.058.011, Today’s Second Patch, Is Now Live

Rolling out on PC and PS5 (and soon Xbox), the newest patch for Ark Survival Ascended addresses some minor issues that were recently introduced in the Extinction Ascended and Bob’s Tall Tales: Wasteland War content drop from earlier today. Below are the team’s current known patch notes.

v57.14 – Minor version for Servers- 12/20/2024

  • Fix for a server crash when a specific dino ran out of stamina.

v57.11 – Minor version for PS5 Clients- 12/20/2024

  • Increased Nanite streaming pool to prevent assets from becoming low quality.

Again, this is a minor patch and likely not the last small one we’ll see before the end of the year.

If you missed it, Extinction Ascended and Bob’s Tall Tales: Wasteland War is now available. Extinction Ascended sees the remasting of all legacy creatures and new wild babies, monsters, and bug fixes. Bob’s Tall Tales: Wasteland War, on the other hand, adds a new companion, vehicle, weapons, structures, and a host of new cosmetics for both the players and structures. Be sure to check out our coverage of the update, which details everything included.

For those playing Ark Survival Ascended on Xbox or Windows PC, please note that this patch, along with the previous one, has yet to be released on the platform. Studio Wildcard provided an update on X, confirming they are awaiting certification to pass on the platform.

“Xbox and Windows users will unfortunately need to wait for the update to clear certification. Currently, the certification process is taking 4x longer than the usual turnaround time. Microsoft is actively investigating our issue, but at this time, we don’t have an ETA yet as to when our submission will be approved nor do we have much insight into the reason for the delay. As we want to ensure we have the ability to do more patches post-release, we’re unable to hold back the release any further, but as soon as we become unblocked on the Microsoft platforms, we’ll immediately release the update for our Xbox and Windows players.”

In the meantime, ttem and dino uploads from Extinction have been temporarily disabled until all platforms are at parity. We’ll update the story once the patch goes live on Xbox and Windows PC.
