Studio Wildcard released Ark Survival Ascended update 1.039.024 on consoles, which brings another round of fixes. Here are the full patch notes for today’s Ark Survival Ascended update.
Ark Survival Ascended Update 1.039.024 Patch Notes:
Though Studio Wildcard has not published the console patch notes, the PC version of Ark Survival Ascended received a client update as the same version as the consoles.
- Fix for foliage respawning on top of structures when restarting servers. (You may notice one rock remaining on the first boot, but later reboots will correct it. This deployment/patch should keep most the foliage from respawning, but you will want to clear out any remaining rocks that appear over the next few days to prevent from structure/item loss when we reenable antimesh destruction.)
- Fix for losing items when ascending on Scorched Earth map.
- Fixed an Exploit.
- Fixed losing items when ascending on Scorched Earth and downloading on the same server
- Fixed various Scorched Earth foliage respawning through structures on server restart

how are these the only updates? How about we address actual issues. Fix the lighting for one, using flashlights at night is completely blinding. As for night – make it nightime, why can i see better when i put my torch away than when i have it out. You STILL CANT USE ATTACHMENTS WHEN MOUNTED ON XBOX FIX THIS. Additionally, activating attachments will sometimes throw your shoulder mount sometimes it doesnt. Fix this.
This “update” has rendered the game unplayable, constant crashes, it is to wonder if the devs actually test the update prior to releasing it, we are talking about a remake, basically the same game as Ark evolved, cosmetic improvements as well as very minor updates as far as gameplay is concerned, that is it…..They expect you to fork out $50 for that and it is not even playable, even if you own a very high end PC, do not expect much more than 30 frames/sec, most of the time the game settings must be downgraded in order to enjoy a decent experience, shame on them for this farce.
Just another “update” that really doesn’t fix more than it breaks, so what else is new?
