Code Vein 2 Version 1.0.7 Released for Quality-of-Life Features via Patch 1.006
Bandai Namco Entertainment has pushed out a new game update for Code Vein 2, and as previewed last month, this brings a slew of quality-of-life features as well as bug fixes.
Called the version 1.0.7 patch, console gamers will see this as Code Vein 2 update 1.006 (complete version 1.006.000), and this should be a small download across all platforms.
Expect performance and gameplay updates, such as enhancements to New Game+, affinity and trading changes and a lot more.
Code Vein 2 New Update Adds New Quality-of-Life Changes for Gameplay, Combat and More
Listed below are the patch preview notes Bandai Namco provided, but there is a chance that more items will be part of the official patch notes once it’s available.
Performance & Stability Improvements
GPU (Graphics)
- Improved combat performance and framerate.
- Reduced VFX load during certain boss fights.
- Reduced VFX load for some abilities (“Formae”).
CPU (World/Exploration)

Gameplay & System Updates
New Game+ Enhancements

Option to toggle enemy difficulty scaling ON/OFF in NG+ runs.
Affinity & Trading Changes
- New UI to check affinity levels.
- You can now trade/present items with Noah during Free Exploration.
Character Customization
- New “Bangs” accessory type.
- More preset customization options.
- Extra costumes for owners of the Ultimate Content Set DLC.
Balance Adjustments
Enemy Changes

Tweaks to certain enemy attacks to make dodge/evade methods clearer.
Parameter Adjustments
- Buffs to weaker weapons to improve overall balance.
- Increased drain values for certain enemies (Ogre, Hound, Stinger, Reaper Jails).
Quality-of-Life Improvements
- Auto-pickup option for items.
- Wind effects can be disabled in Photo Mode.
- Improved heavy weapon sound effects.
