College Football 25 Update 1.022 Fixes Custom Team Issues
[summaraize]
After last week’s patch for College Football 25 introduced a few new uniforms and whatnot, it also caused an issue to Custom Teams. That should be resolved today with College Football 25 update 1.022 that’s out now on all platforms.
The patch is now available for download, and was released during server downtime that was initiated today, January 30, 2025. Players will be removed from online games at 6 am ET/3 am PT, and this should last for at least 2-4 hours if past maintenance downtimes are anything to go by.
EA Sports College Football 25’s Custom Team Issues From Team Builder Resolved With January 30 Patch
According to EA, “The team has identified a fix for an issue that players are encountering when attempting to use custom teams from Team Builder.” The devs added that a Title Update will be targeted for tomorrow morning that should fix this issue, which is this patch.
Of course, if EA just made Team Builder available offline, this wouldn’t be an issue, though there’s a fat chance of that happening.
No word yet if this patch also fixes other issues, though I wouldn’t hold my breath. Some of the other known issues plaguing the football sim include:
- XP issues wherein players are not getting the correct XP for completing objectives.
- Error message problem when players simulate a week in the off-season transfer portal in Dynasty mode.
- Error showing up for offline dynasties
And I’m sure there are other gameplay bugs that needs sorting out. If EA releases a full changelog of what got fixed today, we’ll update the article with the info. That said, don’t expect it given the way the dev team has communicated title updates so far.
