College Football 26 January Update #2 Applies Patch 1.018
EA has released College Football 26 update 1.018 (complete version 1.018.000). and this is the game’s second patch released this month. Given we are almost at the tail end of the game’s lifecycle, don’t expect much from the title update.

College Football 26 Receives Second Patch of January 2026 via Version 1.018
So far, EA has not released any official patch notes, and we don’t think that will be changing anytime soon (just like the patch earlier this month). Chances are, the title update is tied to game stability and performance with no player-facing additions or changes.
That said here are some of the known issues plaguing the collegiate football sim,
- Field Pass objectives not tracking properly
- Dynasty in Team Builder not saving
- Game crashing issues (still)
- Delay of game penalty randomly happening (post-update)
- Lag in penalty kicking
- RTG mnetal abilities not working
- Scoring bug after hitting 255 points
- Various gameplay-related bugs in Ultimate Team H2H
Againm we are not expecting a proper changelog from EA given the latest iteration in the series should be revealed soon. That said, if anything changes, we’ll update the article with the info.
