College Football 26 Update 1.021 Slides Out on April 9
EA Sports has released College Football 26 update 1.021 (complete version 1.021.000) on all platforms on April 9, and this is another minor game update.
Don’t expect much from this, as this doesn’t contain any new content, and given the game’s lifecycle, we’re not expecting anything major to be released until the next iteration drops, as it’s clear EA is done providing seasonal support for the football sim.
College Football 26 Minor Update Now Available for Download as Version 1.021
As expected, the developers have not acknowledged today’s patch outside of a maintenance announcement happening today.
Unfortunately, even if the dev team is busy prepping College Football 27, there are still a bunch of gameplay-related issues affecting the title, which we’ve included in the known issues list below. At the very least, players who are experiencing the same can take comfort that other players are also suffering through the same thing.

- Event wins are not tracked, thus rewards aren’t being awarded properly
- Crashing on load and at various instances
- Desync error with Custom PB
- Ultimate Alumni: S6 token instead of S7 being awarded
- Mercedes-Benz Stadium Mega Column LED Ribbon is missing
- Talent developer not working for XP rewards.
- Play selection freeze glitch
- Wrongful Loss in National Championship After Game Error (Case #241103276)
- Did not receive the rewards for completing the Proving Grounds CPU event
- Defense being out of position
- Can not play squads.
- Missing cards for various ranks
These are just the tip of the iceberg, as there are more issues affecting the game. Let’s hope some of these are fixed in today’s patch. If the developers release an actual changelog, we’ll update the article with the info.
