Crimson Desert Player Earns Platinum in 56-Hour Sessions, Leaving Pearl Abyss Stunned
The journey of Crimson Desert has been a real roller coaster. After the early hype, the game received some criticism because of its early issues, but it has now become one of the standout titles of the year. A big reason for this is Pearl Abyss, which has been releasing patches and updates very quickly to fix problems and improve the game.
Much of the game’s success also comes from Pywel, its huge world that has drawn in millions of players and kept them deeply engaged. For some, that excitement has gone even further. While many fans focus on defeating every enemy in the game, one player took things to another level by earning the Platinum trophy in such an unusual way that it even left the studio concerned.
Pearl Abyss Left Stunned as Player Unlocks Crimson Desert Platinum in 56-Hour Sessions

Reddit user TioZer0 proudly shared that he had earned the Platinum trophy in Crimson Desert, which means he unlocked all of the game’s trophies.
So far, only 13 players on PS5 have managed to do this. The game has only been on sale for 20 days, but TioZer0 did not need all that time.
It took him 305 hours to earn the platinum trophy, spending countless hours on tasks and mini-games. As he explained, “over 60 of those hours were hunting the insects and fish at the end.”
This achievement also caught the attention of Pearl Abyss marketing lead Will Powers, who said he was impressed, especially since the game has only been available for a total of 428 hours. However, he did not yet know TioZer0’s “secret.”
The player later explained, “As long as I eat well, I don’t really feel the need to sleep so much, so I played 56 hours straight and slept 8, repeating until done and only stopping to shower or to buy food.”
After hearing this, Powers was left stunned and replied, “I immediately went to do the math. That’s not enough sleep.”
It is worth noting that this kind of routine is far from healthy, something TioZer0 himself admitted when he warned others not to follow his example, saying, “This is extremely unhealthy, I know, and I don’t recommend it to anyone, even if you can handle it like me.”
In other news, Crimson Desert’s story was reportedly decided at the last minute, as developers reveal internal struggles and a “yes men” workplace culture.
