Crimson Desert Update 1.000.424 Released as a Hotfix; Known Issues Listed
Following yesterday’s Crimson Desert title update that brought the game to version 1.16.0, Pearl Abyss has issued a hotfix today.
This minor download will appear as Crimson Desert update 1.000.424. This is a small file and doesn’t resolve all the known issues the game currently has.

Crimson Desert Hotfix Issued on Aug. 1
Per Pearl Abyss, players can expect: “A hotfix to fix an issue where storage UIs in camp appeared as the Wagon Cart UI in certain situations is rolling out across all platforms.”

Crimson Desert Known Issues as of August 2
- [Mac] Crashes may occur when running the game on a Mac with MetalFX Denoising Upscaler option activated.
- If you are experiencing this issue, please note that deleting the User Engine Option save file in the save folder will allow the game to run normally.
- [AMD] Enabling Ray Regeneration on Radeon RX 9070 XT or higher graphics cards may cause graphical issues.
- Please play with Ray Regeneration disabled until this issue is resolved.
- Fish being caught while fishing in certain areas are unable to move.
- Greymane faction quests cannot be progressed while playing as Damiane or Oongka.
- If the “Evasion Control” option is set to “Hold,” the default Evasion key still functions even after the Evasion key has been changed.NPCs required for quest progression cannot ride together on Legendary Animal mounts.
- [Mac] When using a keyboard and mouse at certain resolutions, the cursor position differs from the actual furniture placement point.
- [Mac] The colorblind filter is not applied to the UI when “Colorblind Mode” is enabled.
- [PlayStation] The screen may freeze if characters are entered rapidly while using the virtual keyboard to set the name of a pet or horse.
- Please enter characters slowly with brief pauses when changing names. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- On NVIDIA GTX 1060 GPUs, enabling ‘FSR Upscaling’ and ‘Frame Generation’ causes the screen to appear white.
- When using FSR4 upscaling, an issue occurs in rainy environments where rain disappears, or the screen becomes blurry or distorted.
