Cronos: The New Dawn Update 1.007 Adds Halloween Content
Bloober Team has pushed out Cronos: The New Dawn update 1.007 (complete version 1.007.000), and this adds new content to players in time for Halloween.
While players shouldn’t expect any new story-related content, that doesn’t mean the developers won’t push out other content.
In this case, it’s a new skin for the Traveler, and it looks insanely good.

While Bloober hasn’t released any official patch notes, we do know that this update adds the “Pumpkin” skin for the Traveler for free. This is a pleasant surprise for those playing the game for the first time, or for those who already completed it and wants to experience the other endings.Aside from today’s update, a demo is now available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. For those on PS5, the game is on sale now as part of the PlayStation Store’s Halloween sale promotion.
In other Cronos news, Bloober said it expects “significant profit” from the horror game, though no sequel or DLC are in development for now.
When it comes to studio releases, Bloober says fans should not expect “longer downtimes” when it comes to big releases. For the record, Bloober is currently developing a remake of the first Silent Hill for Konami. This follows the commercial and critical success of Silent Hill 2. Speaking of which, our review of that was very positive in case you haven’t played it yet.
Our review of Cronos: The New Dawn was also favorable for the new horror IP, as I stated, “Cronos: The New Dawn might not revolutionize the genre, but it’s still one journey worth taking.”
