Dying Light: The Beast Hotfix 1.6.2 Released via Update 1.006.002
Techland has released a new hotfix for Dying Light: The Beast today, April 13, and this once again applies fixes to bugs from the Restored Land content update.
Console gamers will see this as Dying Light: The Beast update 1.006.002, which the devs call hotfix 1.6.2. Even if this is a hotfix, it also includes some quality-of-life features as well such as adding vendors in Safe Zones near the estacade, school, and stonehenge
Some of the fixes include resolving crashes, delays on map opening and more. Read on for the complete patch notes to know everything that got changed.
Dying Light: The Beast Hotfix on April 13 Adds Vendors in Safe Zones
The complete patch notes from Techland mention the following changes:
- After unlocking the Safe Zones near the estacade, school, and stonehenge, Vendors will appear, allowing players to grab some supplies during their adventure
- Fixed potential crash on Restored Land start/load.
- Enemies will respawn if all doors haven’t been opened during Convoy clearance in Restored Land.
- Distance before uncollected loot dropped by enemies will disappear forever was slightly increased
- Fixed delay on map opening
- Fixed missing “Search” prompt on dead bodies that fell into certain bushes.
- Infecteds are less likely to respawn in certain places while playing Restored Land.
- Fixed infinite refresh of Leaderboards on too many page switches
- “Top of Leaderboard button” will now appear on all leaderboards
- Additional food will be present in Power Gambit quest
- Weapon modding tutorial will now appear on Tutorials List after unlocking it
- Weapon levels from DLC bundles will now scale with Legendary Levels
- Fixed multiple instances of enemies respawning around Hidden Stashes in Restored Land
- Fixed an issue with enemies sometimes becoming unresponsive during encounters
- Fixed text overlap in some language
