Dying Light: The Beast Update 1.002.006

Following yesterday’s patch for Dying Light: The Beast, which introduced the new challenges players can take part in to obtain a reward, Techland has issued a new patch today, and this is for hotfix 1.2.6.

Console gamers will see the download as Dying Light: The Beast update 1.002.006, and this is another small download across all platforms.

Since this is a hotfix following a recent patch, don’t expect much from it other than a few key issues being sorted out.

Dying Light: The Beast Stats Issue Fixed in New Hotfix 1.002.006

Per Techland, today’s update includes the following change:

  • We’ve just released a hotfix that addresses the recent issue where weapon and armor stats were reduced after a player’s death or when restarting the game.

That’s about it. There are no other fixes mentioned, though there are still persistent issues plaguing players.

As for the new challenge, “A Season to Dismember,” here’s what you need to know.

Outside of today’s patch, there are more new features and content on the way. Players can expect New Game+ and more to be released in the coming weeks and months as per the new 11-week roadmap.
